Windows smashed and plants uprooted at Ballyshannon community garden

An appeal has been issued after plants were uprooted and thrown around and a window on the grounds was smashed at the community garden at College Street, Ballyshannon.

Gardaí in Ballyshannon are investigating a criminal damage incident that occurred between Saturday September 3rd at
9am and Monday the 5 th of September at 9am.

The community garden at College Street, Ballyshannon was entered and plants were uprooted and thrown around
and a window on the grounds was smashed also.

Gardaí ask anybody who may have seen any sort of activity in or around the Community garden over the course of the weekend to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.

Speaking on today’s Nine til Noon show, Garda Grainne Doherty says this is a disappointing incident..
