Book of condolence to Queen Elizabeth to open in Derry and Strabane

A Book of Condolence to Queen Elizabeth II will open this afternoon at Derry’s Guildhall and the Alley Theatre in Strabane.

The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council says it will allow the many people, especially people from the unionist tradition and the people of Britain, who will feel her loss deeply, to share their grief and condolences.

Following news of the Queen’s passing, Mayor, Councillor Sandra Duffy extended her condolences to the Queen’s family and acknowledged her contribution towards building peace, reaching out and helping to advance reconciliation and building relationships.
