Anglers in Donegal are being urged to become citizen scientists.
Esri Ireland, and Inland Fisheries Ireland has issued the call as a way of helping to conserve fish stocks in Ireland.
Through an easy-to-use web-based app, anglers can gather and upload information from any device about the fish they catch and release along Donegal’s coastline.
The data will then be used to identify patterns in the species, volumes and weight of fish caught.
