A number of flights from Donegal Airport have been impacted this afternoon by an Aer Lingus system outage.
In a statement, Donegal Airport said that due to the system outage flights would be “indefinitely delayed”, and that “our staff have no access to systems to check any reservations, flight times etc for intending passengers”.
It’s believed that a coach replacement service was offered this afternoon for passengers scheduled to fly to Dublin.
The Airport offers two daily flights to Dublin with Emerald Airlines, which is operated by Aer Lingus.
The Aer Lingus system faults have also caused delays for thousands of passengers travelling through Dublin Airport today.
