Met Eireann has issued a nationwide status yellow weather warning for rain this weekend.
The warning comes into effect from 3am tomorrow Sunday morning, and is currently set to last until 3am on Monday morning.
The forecaster is warning of heavy rain with isolated thunderstorms that may have the potential to cause flooding in some areas.
Cork and Waterford have seen their warning upgraded to orange with Met Eireann warning of persistent heavy rain in those counties.
