An 80 cent per-hour increase in the minimum wage is set to be approved by Cabinet tomorrow.
It means the minimum wage will rise to 11.30 an hour from the start of next year.
The move is part of a recommendation from the Low Pay Commission and will be brought to Cabinet in the morning by Tánaiste Leo Varadkar.
