Sunday the 16th of October marks the 50th anniversary of Emmerdale.
The UK soap took to Facebook to announce their news, unveiling a new cast photo taken earlier this year.
To mark their fifth decade on screen, an hour long special will be broadcasted.
The hour-special will be aired on the exactly 50 years to the day of their first episode.
