A new €450,000 fire engine has been officially handed over to Letterkenny Fire Brigade.
The state of the art Scania ‘Class B’ fire engine replaces the 2006 fire engine based at the station which Chief Fire Officer, Joseph McTaggart says “will enhance the ability of Letterkenny Fire Brigade to deliver the operational fire service to the community it serves”.
The appliance is equipped with the most up-to-date emergency lighting, high-visibility markings and is fully equipped with the latest modern fire-fighting technology.
