‘Barney the Dinosaur’ is the latest subject of a two part documentary by Peacock. I Love You, You Hate Me investigates the dark side of the beloved children’s TV show. It dives into the intense hatred and backlash that the show was subject too.
Peacock says in it’s synopsis “From Barney-bashing to frat parties to homicidal video games, something in American society broke into a million pieces, and it’s never been put together again… or is this just who we were all along?”
The trailer dropped on the Peacock YouTube channel on the 28th of September with the release date set to October 12th.
