Derry City moved to within two points of league leaders Shamrock Rovers on Friday night, with a 1-0 win away to St Pat’s.
Cian Kavanagh’s strike 20 minutes from the end was enough to see the Candystripes pick up all three points in Inchicore.
Both sides did end the game with ten men after Chris Forrester and Ryan Graydon were given their marching orders.
