Donegal County Council Roads Maintenance team have worked through the night in Glenswilly after flooding plagued the R250 road, close to Glenswilly National School once again.
Last night, heavy rain caused major flooding in the area resulting in the road being closed by Gardaí to allow works to be carried to ensure the road was passable this morning.
The pipes have again been ripped up and debris strewn across the road as the road was previously flooded yesterday morning and four times in the past month.
Mayor of Letterkenny and Milford Municipal District Cllr Donal Mandy Kelly says he simply has no words for the ongoing issue and added that this is more money wasted.
