There’s calls for high visibility crossings to be put in place at a number of locations in Letterkenny.
Councillor Jimmy Kavanagh believes a similar pilot to that rolled out in the Twin Towns would greatly enhance safety for pedestrians.
He says action needs to be taken before someone is seriously injured:
