Donegal recorded highest temperatures in country yesterday

The warmest place in Ireland last night was Malin Head where temperatures of six degrees were recorded.

The county recorded the highest temperatures in the country, while the coldest place was Athenry in County Galway, where temperatures plunged to minus eight degrees.

According to Met Eireann, Mount Dillon in County Roscommon also recorded a bitterly cold low of minus 7-point-4.
