A special meeting of Donegal County Council will take place on Friday.
Cathaoirleach Councillor Liam Blaney has called the meeting to discuss steps the Council can take to secure alternative accommodation immediately for families whose homes are worst affected by defective concrete blocks.
An update on a meeting with the Housing Minister is also being sought.
