The Donegal Mountain Rescue Team were called yesterday to assist a casualty in Malin Head.
A walker had sustained an injury to their lower leg after slipping on wet ground and falling on Soldier’s Hill.
Whilst en route the team were contacted by the Aero Medical desk to say the casualty had been helped to the car park and was on their way to a NAS ambulance waiting in Cardonagh .
The team was then stood down.
