The Cathaoirleach of the Glenties Municipal District has raised concerns regarding drones and surveillance.
It comes as a recent study between TU Dublin and the IFA revealed 55% of farmers have been burgled.
Cllr Michael McClafferty believes criminals are using drones to scope potential buildings.
He says legislation needs to be put in place as a protective measure:
