There’s calls for a co-ordinated plan to be put in place to develop the Finn and Foyle rivers into a Blueway.
Donegal County Council says arrangements will be made to contact relevant agencies.
Councillor Patrick McGowan believes it would be an ideal Shared Island project between Council’s on both sides of the border.
He however, says all agencies need to work together to bring the project to fruition:
