Free afterschool club for gamers to start in Inishowen

A new initiative for children with an interest in gaming is to start in Inishowen next week.
It was established by Sproai agus Spórt, in collaboration with the Irish Youth Foundation and McDonald’s.
Gaming 4 All will start next Wednesday February 14th and will run on a weekly basis.
The free after school activity is for children aged 12+ and hopes to spark interest in creative activities.
Children will have access to to Playstations, VR headsets, and cutting-edge programmes for game development and coding.
It’s being facilitated by experienced and passionate gamer Chris Hewitt.
The North West Regional Enterprise Plan has identified digital gaming as a key area of economic strength to build upon, with Derry-based gaming company Hypixel Studios leading the way.
Gaming 4 All runs from 4pm to 6pm during school terms at the Digital Creative Lab, Unit 9, Supervalu Carndonagh.
