A Sinn Féin representative is calling on Donegal County Council to act on road safety concerns felt by locals in Carrigart.
Maria Doherty says over two years ago residents in the area voiced fears in relation to speeding and traffic volume, particularly around Scoil Eoin Bhaiste and had completed a petition.
Ms. Doherty says despite efforts made by her party colleagues, little has been done so far and given the busy nature of the village this isn’t good enough:
