Galway defeated Tyrone at Healy park in the third round of the Division One Allianz National League.
The narrowest of margins separated the two teams with a score line of 1-10 to 0-12.
Tyrone led by two points at half time but Galway’s Cathal Sweeney kicked the goal which proved to be the winner.
