A reprieve is on the way from the heavy rain of recent weeks.
According to Met Eireann last week again saw above average rainfall amounts.
However fine, dry weather is on the way from the end of this week with temperatures in the mid to high teens.
Alan O’Reilly from Carlow Weather says farmers in particular will be happy with what’s to come.
