Pet owners are being urged to be on alert after a cat was shot at with a pellet gun in Ramelton.
The cat’s owner contacted Animals in Need Donegal. They say their cat was out for 10 minutes last Wednesday in the Castle Street, Back Lane area during which it was injured by a pellet gun shot to its hip.
The cat had to undergo surgery.
It’s understood the incident has been reported to the ISPCA.
