The official opening of the new Ballyshannon Community Hospital will take place on Friday.
The facility has been operating for a number of months now however, Minister of State for Mental Health and Older People, Mary Butler, will travel to Donegal to officially open it.
Minister Butler will also meet with representatives of the Restoration of Carndonagh Day Care Services campaign group who have been calling for the resumption of services after they were withdrawn a few years ago.
