Education workers to strike in Northern Ireland

Education workers in Northern Ireland say they’re “ready to strike” after the Stormont Executive failed to deliver on their demands.

The GMB Union says it’s “disgraceful and insulting” to its members that they’ve been told “there’s no money to fund this pay and grading review.”

It says it’ll now engage with members – along with the other education unions – to agree a way forward.
