People are being asked to avoid the Mourne Mountains, where firefighters are battling a large gorse fire.
The Ireland Fire & Rescue Service says eight pumping engines and 64 firefighters are attending the incident at Hilltown.
The operation is expected to be ongoing throughout the day.
