Hopes that scheme to see students study medicine in the North on Irish fees expanded shared by Taoiseach

There’s hopes to see an expansion to the funding available that enabled Irish students to study medicine in the North while only paying the fees they would be if they had studied in the republic.

So far the project enabled 25 students to attend Queens University.

Deputy Thomas Pringle raised the question to the Taoiseach yesterday, asking it be expanded to other Universities in Northern Ireland.
