A man is due in court today in Derry after being charged with assault on police, drink driving and possession of drugs.
The 36 year old was arrested following reports of a suspected driver under the influence in the Main Street area of Ballykelly yesterday.
He was subsequently located by officers in the Buncrana Road area of Derry.
He also faces charges of criminal damage and disorderly behaviour.
