Pearse Doherty optimistic about future of Ireland

Sinn Fein’s deputy leader Pearse Doherty says he’s optimistic that great things lie ahead for Ireland.

However he’s also cautioned that we’re losing our ability to have different opinions and still be cordial.

Speaking at The MacGill Summer School in Donegal today, he’s warned there’s a ‘viciousness’ creeping into politics.
