A hill walker has been airlifted to hospital after sustaining a serious injury in South Donegal.
Killybegs Coast Guard was tasked last evening to the fallen walker at Muckross.
The casualty had sustained a serious injury and was airlifted by the Rescue 118 helicopter and transported to hospital.
Assistance was also provided by the National Ambulance Service.
The Killybegs Coast Guard has thanked the local people who helped them during the rescue.
It’s the third call out for the rescue service in two days.
