RSA issue back to school safety advice

Parents are encouraged to teach their kids about road safety as the new school year begins.

New data from the Road Safety Authority shows a third of children killed or seriously injured on the roads over the last five year were cyclists or pedestrians.

The report found 34 children were killed and another 592 were seriously injured between 2019 and 2023.
