A man has been injured after he was reportedly assaulted by a number of people.
Gardaí are now investigating the incident which has happened at Market Square in Buncrana between 1.45am and 2.45am on Sunday morning.
The victim was treated for his injuries, which are believed to be non-life threatening.
Dashcam footage and witness accounts are being sought by the authorities.
