Gardaí are urging motorists to not take to the roads unless all documentation is up to date.
In recent days, two vehicles have been seized in Donegal due to uninsured drivers.
A van was seized earlier today in Buncrana.
Meanwhile on Tuesday last, the Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit seized a car.
Both incidents will result in court proceedings.
