Atlantic Technological University is to offer a new pharmacy programme.
€130 million is being made available as part of a major increase in healthcare places at universities throughout the country with the creation of six new programmes.
The new pharmacy programme will see an additional 150 pharmacy graduates per year across the ATU, South East Technological University, and University of Galway.
