A status yellow snow and ice warning for the North West has been extended.
The alert in place for Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Cavan and Monaghan will now expire at 11am.
A yellow alert for low temperatures and ice will kick in for the entire country at 8 o’clock this evening.
