A meeting of Donegal County Council to discuss the Draft Budget 2025 has now been adjourned until 3 pm.
Cllr Martin McDermott proposed a minute of silence for 18-year-old Tiernan Kelly-Doherty who was killed in a single-car collision in the early hours of Sunday morning.
He also asked the chamber to keep the woman in her 40s from the Glengad area, who was seriously injured in a separate collision a number or hours later, in their thoughts as she remains in hospital.
