Cancer patients at the end of life are heavily reliant on charity – ICS

Cancer patients rely heavily on charitable donations to help comfort them in their final days of life.

Figures released by the Irish Cancer Society show 9,500 people died from cancer this year in Ireland.

Director of Clinical Affairs at the charity, Amy Nolan, says the round-the-clock work its night-nurses perform is immensely important, and that’s predominantly funded by public donations………
