Government parties accused of misleading the public over housing

Government parties have been accused of misleading the public, after a poll revealed supporters would have voted differently if they knew the true extent of home-building.

A Red C poll in the Business Post shows a quarter of Fianna Fáil voters and 18% of Fine Gael voters would have changed their preference if they knew the number of homes built last year was almost 10,000 lower than the government promised.
