Michael Boyle has been co-opted onto Donegal County Council, becoming its newest member.
Following his brother Manus’s appointment by Tanáiste Simon Harris to the Seanad, there was a Fine Gael seat vacant in the Donegal Muncipal District.
Michael is the son of former Councillor John Boyle
He successfully defeated former Councillor Barry Sweeny at yesterday’s co-option.
