There’s calls for a three-part strategy to be implemented to support the efforts of Tidy Towns groups in Donegal.
Councillor Joy Beard has proposed a rollout of a targeted awareness campaign, additional signage, and a pilot project targeting the disposal of pizza boxes.
Donegal County Council’s Director of Water and Environment, Michael McGarvey confirmed that the motion would be explored.
