Gardai are appealing to anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the Oldtown area of Letterkenny on Saturday night to come forward.
Entry was gained to a house in the area at around 10:50pm, and damage caused. However, nothing was stolen.
Gardai are keen to hear from anyone who has dash-cam footage of the area between 10:30pm and 11:15pm.
