Delargy criticises Royal Mail for ten day delays

Sinn Féin MLA Padraig Delargy has criticised the Royal Mail, saying people in Derry will not accept a “second class system”.

During a recent visit to the sorting office in Derry, he was told that it can take nine or ten days for letters to be delivered.

Mr Delargy says people may miss important event and appointments due to the delay.

He added that staff at Royal Mail are bearing the brunt of bad decisions made at management level:
