A man was hospitalised after being rescued from the water at a Donegal beach on Friday afternoon.
It’s understood he got into difficulty while swimming at Tramore Beach, Portnoo at approximately 3.20pm.
The Killybegs Coastguard and Rescue Helicopter 118 were dispatched after onlookers reported an unconscious man in the water.
He was later transferred to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment.
