Three people have been hospitalised following a crash between Letterkenny and Lifford earlier today.
The collision involving two trucks occurred at around 11am between the Ballyholey and Ballinalecky junction in the Raphoe area.
Gardai have described the injuries sustained as non-life-threatening.
The road is currently closed and diversions are in place.
Motorists are urged to seek an alternative route.
UPDATE: The road, which was closed for a time, has since reopened.
