The Dáil has passed a motion of confidence in the Tánaiste.
The Government’s motion won by 29 votes this afternoon.
It had been called after Aontú announced it would table a vote of no confidence in Simon Harris next week, over his handling of children’s spinal surgery waiting times.
Before the vote took place, Taoiseach Micheál Martin made his confidence in the Tánaiste clear:
