
Parts of Derry’s city centre have been likened to the Wild West.
Foyle MLA Mark Durkan says vulnerable people are engaging in street drinking and anti-social behaviour, which he claims is impacting the city’s economy.
People are said to feel unsafe with some parts of Derry designated ‘no-go areas’.
Mr Durkan called for progress on legislation that would permit Police to confiscate alcohol from adults.
