A local councillor has condemned a case of illegal dumping on Bóthar an Teampall in Gweedore.
Eight black bin bags were discovered at the side of the road by walkers between Thursday evening last and Saturday morning.
Cllr John Sheamuis O Fearraigh says the matter has now been reported to the litter warden, who will examine the contents of the bags in a bid to determine a culprit.
Cllr O’Fearraigh named the area a black spot and made the following appeal to the perpetrators:
