All the winners from the Donegal GAA Awards night

Michael Langan picking up his Inter-County Footballer of the Year Award from Mary Coughlan

The 2025 Donegal GAA Awards were held at the Abbey Hotel in Donegal Town last night.

A huge crowd were in attendance, including Donegal Senior Football Manager Jim McGuinness.

Speaking at the event, McGuinness revealed there are 18 players that caught the eye during the club championship season and will be on trial ahead of the 2026 season which begins with the Dr. McKenna Cup in January.

The award winners on the night were as follows:

Inter-County Senior Footballer of the Year: Michael Langan

Inter-County Senior Hurler of the Year: Stephen McBride

Junior Footballer of the Year: Conor O’Donnell (Carndonagh)

Intermediate Footballer of the Year: Paul O’Hare (Naomh Columba)

Senior Footballer of the Year: Finnbarr Roarty (Naomh Conaill)

Junior Hurler of the Year: Donal Farrelly (Letterkenny Gaels)

Intermediate Hurler of the Year: Brendan Gaffey (St Eunan’s)

Senior Hurler of the Year: Gerard Gilmore (Setanta)

Club of the Year: Termon

Culture and Irish Language Volunteer Award: Eugene McGarvey (Dungloe)

Hall of Fame Award: John Friel (Urris)

 

The Donegal Senior Footballers were also presented with their Ulster Senior Football Championship medals at the event.
