A man has died and another has been arrested following a fatal assault in Dublin.
Gardaí received reports of a disturbance involving a group of people at Curragh Hall Crescent in Tyrrelstown at about 10.30 last night.
On arrival, the group dispersed – but Gardaí say a short time later, a man in his 20s arrived at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown with serious injuries and he later died.
Another man in his 20s has since been arrested.
The scene at Curragh Hall has been sealed off for a technical examination, and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
