Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher has welcomed the news that 26 schools in Donegal have been included in €30m of ring fenced funding which will assist in the refurbishment of science labs in primary and post-primary schools.
These refurbishments will support the roll out of the new leaving cert curriculum. Minister Helen McEntee said the new curriculum aims to ensure that students are equipped wit the skills they need to thrive after leaving school.
