Two men are in PSNI custody over the attempted murder of a detective two years ago.
Chief Inspector John Caldwell was shot nine times following a sports training session in Omagh, Co Tyrone in 2023.
Officers yesterday arrested two men, aged 37 and 73 and detained them under the Terrorism Act.
In August, two other men appeared in court in relation to the same attack.
